The Adjudicators for the Continental Contest 2004 are known. For the
Drum Majors we have Jim Robertson, who is well known.
For the pipers we this year have the PM of the House of Edgar - Shotts &
Dykehead, Robert Mathieson and het will be joined by Jim Baxter for the drummers.
Jim was the Adjudicator for the ensemble at the Grade 1 MSR at the Worlds.
29 April
From now on there are the new solo rules available at the section of the TechComm
(only in Dutch) for pipers, drummers and tenor drummers.
The new rules will be applyed AFTER the Continental Contest and will probably
first be used at the Solo and Mini Band Contest in the after season.

After there were some mistakes in the Massed Band Tunes that were distributed
at the AGM, from today there are the new and improved versions downloadable
at the TechComm section
Nadat er een aantal foutjes in de Massed Band Tunes waren geslopen die op de
jaarvergadering zijn uitgedeeld zijn vanaf vandaag via de site de correcte versies
beschikbaar in het welbekende pdf formaat.

On the 30th of may there will be a Drum Majors Workshop in Tilburg,
held by PipeBand.nl is cooperation with the NOvDB.
14 April
The Time Table for the first Major in Schotland has been announced, that one
of the Scottish Championships in Dumbarton.
At this Contest 2 Dutch bands wil be present. In Grade 4B the Concord PB will
have to play as 16th at 11:45 and in Grade 3A the City of Amsterdam will have
to play as first at 15:00.

In the Time Table for the Contest in Peine Germany there were some
changes. This has the following consequenses for the Dutch bands that participate
here.
In Grade 3 the Coriovallum PB wont play at 15:15 but at 15:00. The City of Amsterdam
PB, who plays the same grade, wont play at 15:30 but at 15:15.
In Grade 2 the City wil have to play at 16:15 in stead of 16:30. Also they have
gained an opponent in this grade, the 1st Btln The Highlanders.
The times in Grade 4 and the open Grade have not been changed

At the 4th of April the Piping School of the Netherlands had its official
start with the organisation of a workshop Piobaireachd. The pictures of this

It is now possible to obtain pieces of our Music Board (TechComm.)
The subjects will be about various subjects and will be only in Dutch
